Flash Sale Campaigns

Flash sales are a powerful marketing tool to create urgency and boost sales for a limited time. This section allows you to create, manage, and add products to your flash sale campaigns.


Step 1: Creating a New Campaign

The main "Flash Sale Campaigns" page lists all your current and past campaigns.

  1. To start, click the "+ Create" button in the top right corner.
  2. A "Create New Campaign" pop-up will appear.
  3. Campaign Name: Give your sale a descriptive name (e.g., "Summer Sale", "Black Friday Deals").
  4. End Date: Select a date and time when the campaign will automatically end. All product prices will revert to their original values after this time.
  5. Publish: Use this toggle to set the campaign's initial status. You can create a campaign in draft mode and publish it later.
  6. Click "Save".

Your new campaign will now appear in the list.


Step 2: Managing Your Campaign

The main campaign list provides an overview and quick actions for each campaign:

  • Show Home Page: This toggle ("Active" / "Inactive") controls whether this flash sale is prominently displayed in a special section on your website's homepage. You can have a sale running without featuring it on the homepage.
  • Status: "Published" means the campaign is active and its discounted prices are live. "Draft" means it is saved but not active.
  • Operations:
    • Edit (Pencil Icon): This is the most important button. Click it to go to the "Edit Flash Sale Campaign" page, where you will add products to your sale.
    • Delete (Trash Icon): Permanently deletes the campaign and all its associated product deals.


Step 3: Adding Products to the Flash Sale

After clicking the "Edit" icon for a campaign, you will be taken to the "Edit Flash Sale Campaign" page. This is where you build your sale by adding products and setting their special prices.

  1. Click the "+ Add Product" button to create a new row.
  2. Search for a product: Click on the "Select a product" dropdown. You can start typing the name of a product, and a search list will appear. Select the item you want to add.
  3. Current Price: This field will automatically populate with the product's regular price for your reference.
  4. Flash Price: Enter the new, discounted price for the flash sale.
  5. Quantity: Enter the maximum number of units of this product that can be sold at the discounted flash sale price. This creates scarcity (e.g., "Only 100 available at this price!").
  6. Repeat this process for all the products you want to include in the campaign.
  7. Click the "Save Changes" button at the top to finalize your product list and activate the deals.
