Blockchain: Managing Networks
Managing Blockchain Networks
This section is the foundation of your marketplace's blockchain integration. Here, you define which blockchain networks your platform will support. You must add a network here before you can add any payment currencies that operate on it.
CRITICAL WARNING: DO NOT MODIFY
The contract addresses listed below are fundamental to the operation of your marketplace. They handle payment routing, transaction verification, and fee collection.
Altering, editing, or deleting these addresses will cause an immediate and total failure of the payment system. Customers will not be able to make purchases, and you will not receive any funds. These values should only ever be changed if you are explicitly instructed to do so in an official update from our team.
Understanding the Network List
- Network Name: The user-friendly name of the blockchain (e.g., "Ethereum Mainnet"). The "Testnet" badge indicates it is a network for testing purposes only and does not use real money.
- Network Key: A unique, internal identifier for the system (e.g., "ethereum-mainnet").
- Chain ID: The official and unique identifier for the network. This number is critical for wallet interactions (like MetaMask) to ensure transactions are sent to the correct blockchain. This must be accurate.
- Status: "Active" means the network is available for use on your platform. "Inactive" will hide it.
- Operations: The "Edit" icon allows you to modify the details of an existing network.
